Balboa started with a simple idea: bring the laid-back energy of Southern California's Balboa Peninsula to the Vegas Valley. It was built as a family-owned neighborhood spot from day one.

Pete Kaufman opens Balboa Pizza in Henderson.
Inspired by the beach bars, neighborhood restaurants and easygoing atmosphere of Southern California, Balboa brought a little piece of the coast to the desert.

Balboa has always been more than a neighborhood pizza spot — it's a family business. Co-CEO Frank Toti's son, Truth, has taken over ownership from his father, carrying that tradition forward and leading Balboa into its next chapter. The ownership may have passed from father to son, but the heart of the place hasn't changed.
